THE ADMISSIONS PROCESS


For F-1 visa applicants to receive an I-20 you must take these steps:

  1. Apply online for a 6, 9, or 17 week program.
  2. Complete the financial support form. (Or have the individual funding your studies complete the form.)
  3. Send a copy of a current bank statement.
  4. Pay the $100 non-refundable application fee.
  5. Send a copy of the biographic page in your passport (The one with your picture on it).
  6. Pay full tuition for the first session you will attend. Please click on the link for Tuition Payment Options to find out when and how to pay tuition.

To be considered for admission, we must receive items #1-5. When you pay the full tuition (item #6) we will mail you an I-20. Although you may make the tuition payment at a later date, we cannot send an I-20 until full tuition payment has been made.

F-1 Transfer Students

If you are an F-1 visa holder transferring from another school, you must fill out the transfer form and ask your current school to complete the lower section of the transfer form. Then fax the form with copies of the documents listed on the top portion of the form to 408-924-2669.

*SAL's 2 and 3 week programs do not qualify for I-20s.

The Admission Process for Non-F-1 Applicants

  1. Submit the online application.
  2. Fax a copy of the biographic page in your passport (the one with a picture on it).
  3. Pay the $100 non-refundable application fee.
