All programs - prior to the start date
Tuition refund, less a 10% financial processing fee (FPF), will be granted for withdrawal requests received in writing one working day before the program start date, as listed in the official SAL calendar. The financial processing fee (FPF) is waived for NEW students only if they are denied a visa and return the original I-20 or DS-2019.
Long-term Programs (8 weeks or more in length)
This policy applies to these programs:
Academic and TOEFL Prep English
MBA-One Prep
Semester at SJSU
Weeks 1 & 2: A 50% refund will be granted (includes the 10% FPF) through Friday of the second week of the program. The request must be received in writing.
Week 3 and beyond: NO REFUNDS will be granted for any reason.
Short-term Programs (2-7 weeks in length)
This policy applies to these programs:
TOEFL Test Strategies
American Communication and Culture
Business & Professional Communication
NO REFUNDS will be granted for any reason after your program has begun.
No tuition roll-overs (transfers of tuition funds to a future term)
are allowed at any time.
